These candles burn evenly I am seeing cratering at the top after a burn, though. Not sure what that means. The aroma takes a good while to envelope the room. If you compare them to say, Pure Integrity candles, that brand is considered one the many top end candles, you can smell that brand in the next room within 10 minutes. I guess that explains the price difference, their scent mixtures are much more potent. The price on this brand is much more affordable, the smell is good even if it takes a while to permeate thru the room. We will see how long they burn. This is the first candle i have purchased from Papas. I'd buy them again. Great fir burning during power outages, puts a decent smell, not over powering at all, light scented compared to other brands but still, the price makes this a good deal
